Giving Thanks!!!

Hello Everyone!
WOW! The last ¼ of the 2011 is closing in as
the holidays approach us! Hope you have been enjoying this amazing fall
weather as we start to transition to winter soon. Please check out our
newsletter for this month and our community connection flyer where we are
taking donations for Harvesters KC! Great opportunities for current IFC
patients to win a massage and great savings for new patients when they donate a
bag of food to Harvesters!
As we approach Thanksgiving I began to realize that
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! A Holiday wrapped more
around expression of gratitude and love to those most dear to our hearts
instead of giving gifts instead. I firmly believe that the two most
important aspects in life are gratitude and love. Both have the
capability to change anyone’s life for the better which creates a ripple effect
for everyone around us! This year I encourage you to consider
writing letters to those who mean the most to you; you will never regret doing
just that! The powerful affect this will have on their lives and yours
will be immeasurable. These two expressions have the capability to
motivate, inspire, drive, and transform lives and the world at large!
Recently I had a friend give me a book
“Promptings” by Cody Bateman. In this book he talks about our natural
promptings in life and how many of us hold back too often (me included) when we
know we should act. Cody learned the hard way to share this concept as he
and his family was moving across country for a new job. As they drove off
he was waving goodbye to his other family members and he had the feeling to
stop and give his brother a hug and solid goodbye. The horrible part as
you may already guess Cody’s brother died just 4 months later when he was
tragically electrocuted while working on the lights of a tennis court. I
don’t want to share this story to upset anyone but to prompt you to listen to
your own natural promptings no matter how silly they may seem at times if they
are centered on expressing love and gratitude then you can never go wrong.
I wish you all an amazing November filled with love
and gratitude! Enjoy your time off with friends, family, and those who
mean the most. Happy Thanksgiving you too!
For those of you who are patients I am so grateful to
be you chiropractor! Thank you for trusting me with your health and
allowing me to be a part of your life! I love what I do and am so
thankful to be of service to you!
Health & Happiness,
Dr. Mindy Brown

finding what’s wrong with us, it’s about expressing more fully what is right
within each and every one of us!”
